Johnny Logan leaped into the international spotlight by winning the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest with his winning song “What’s Another Year”. This song quickly shot to No.1 on the pop charts throughout Europe. In 1987, he won the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time as the writer and performer of “Hold Me Now”. He also wrote the winning song in 1992. “Why Me” was performed by Linda Martin. Because of this unique triple win, Johnny Logan is nicknamed “Mr. Voice” or “Mr. Eurovision”. He appears throughout Europe on TV shows and in concerts.
