The five American brothers Ralph, Tiny, Chubby, Butch and Pooch Tavares had their first Top Ten pop hit in the US in 1975 with “It Only Takes A Minute”. Their wonderfully tight group harmonies and consistently solid song selections became the Tavares’s trademark. With their international disco hits “Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel” and “Don’t Take Away The Music”, they conquered the world. For “More Than A Woman”, the “Saturday Night Fever” soundtrack, they earned a Grammy Award and had another worldwide hit song.
