Tony Hadley was the lead singer of the very successful 80’s pop group Spandau Ballet. With a string of hits including; “Lifeline”, “To Cut A Long Story Short”, “Only When You Leave”, “Gold”, “Through The Barricades” and the huge world-wide hit “True”, which was number one in 21 countries, the band conquered the world. Their third album “True” reached the No.1 spot in the UK charts, where it remained in the Top100 for 90 weeks. After 10 years together in 1990 the band split up. Since then Tony Hadley has worked hard as a solo artists, touring the world, performing to thousands. Most recently in 2006 he recorded “Passing Strangers”, his first swing album, and to co-incide with this started touring with his own swing band. In January 2007 he took to the stage in London’s West End in the role of “Billy Flynn” in the musical Chicago.
